Paul Davis is an industry leader in restoration and reconstruction for insurance providers and commercial and residential properties throughout the United States and Canada. Paul Davis of Greater Charleston is seeking a highly motivated Commercial Business Development Manager with strong sales and marketing expertise. In this role, you will be responsible for building relationships with commercial clients to ensure that Paul Davis is their preferred provider when disaster strikes! You will be marketing to property and facilities managers, building engineers, property management leaders, and ownership groups who control substantial amounts of commercial square footage for Charleston, Dorchester and Berkeley Counties. There are lots of things that can be a threat to any commercial property, including water damages, floods, fires, mold, and storms. A company with significant resources and expertise is needed to handle these complex situations. That is where Paul Davis and the Commercial Business Development Manager come in.
Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for preparing and executing the overall strategic plan for business development and account management for the commercial sector
  • Build and secure new accounts, referrals, and existing relationships with key decision-makers through leads, cold calling, and sales presentations to maintain/grow the existing account base and expand our market share and revenue percentages
  • Prepare and present sales proposals
  • Connect with clients and prospects via meetings, phone, social media, zoom, email and text
  • Connect with general adjusters, large loss adjusters or risk managers
  • Continue Involvement with targeted associations and achieve significant committees and or leadership positions
  • Plan and organize marketing functions; including golf tournaments, charitable events and other networking events many which are after normal business hours
  • Utilizes and manages CRM software to keep all client information up-to-date and all activities current
Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in business development, preferably in the restoration industry
  • Must be comfortable approaching and speaking to clients in both professional and social environments
  • Must be willing to follow through consistently with leads and prospects to develop strong, long-lasting relationships
  • Embody a positive attitude, integrity, and strong work ethic
  • Work well under pressure and have exceptional time management skills
  • Ability to follow through and perform with critical thinking and minimal supervision
  • Must be computer savvy and coachable to manage clients through our exclusive sales software
  • Strong Sales and Marketing background
  • Bachelor's in marketing or similar is preferred
